Open to Ashtabula-area high school students in grades 11-12, The JA Titan Business Challenge will provide opportunities to learn business skills through an online interactive business simulator, hear from business leaders, and compete for scholarship awards that can help make higher education goals possible!

Students will use their creativity to build a brand new specialty pizza product for a local pizza shop, while creating the perfect pitch to market it to their peers!

Using a simulated trading environment, teams of 3-4 players will experience the fast-paced thrill of the stock exchange. Once the opening bell is rung, the market opens and every 60 seconds is a new trading day! With 60 trading days, each day brings news through Hot Tips and News Releases from the financial markets, challenging teams to evaluate trends and compete for the attention of floor traders to make trades, buy, and sell shares. Due to the volatile market and the high-energy of the competition, teams will be pushed to the brink. Trading is fast, fun, and furious!

Start My Business teaches young people basic entrepreneurial skills through a community-wide educational program. The information presented during this FREE workshop provides valuable business skills that will help your child make informed entrepreneurial choices in the future!
