The Maker's Mark Private Select Barrel Experience

Maker's Mark is bringing the Distillery Experience to you...
This immersive bourbon-trail experience will give guests the unique opportunity to “embrace their inner distiller” and be a part of the tasting panel for the first ever Maker’s Mark Private Selection made exclusively for The Lake Club. Guests will be able to taste and vote on their favorite Lake Club custom bourbon recipe that will be barreled, aged in a limestone cellar, then bottled and wax dipped with a custom label at the Maker’s Mark distillery in Loretto, KY. Attendees will be given the exclusive opportunity to purchase a bottle of this custom bourbon, with proceeds to benefit Junior Achievement of Eastern Ohio. This limited-edition bourbon will only be available through The Lake Club.
Guests will also have a special opportunity to sample all 5 of the OHLQ Exclusive Maker's Mark Private Selection "Summer in Ohio" series bourbons, which were created through a process of extended aging with custom combinations of oak staves. Each expression of Maker's Mark Private Selection "Summer in Ohio" series has a finish and taste that is superbly distinct. The "Summer in Ohio" series is a highly limited release and not available locally, so enjoy them while you can! Each bourbon will be paired with a unique culinary experience, and guests will enjoy a magnificent charcuterie display presented by The Lake Club.
Finally, guests will enjoy their choice of custom curated cocktails, including an opportunity to experience a "Build Your Own" Old Fashioned bar. A bourbon lovers's auction will be held, including multiple VIP trips to Maker's Mark distillery in Loretto, KY. Guests will also have the chance to bid on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to the James B. Beam distillery in Clermont, KY to select their own Knob Creek Single Barrel bourbon.

-Small Plates: prosciutto wrapped goat cheese with aged balsamic, bourbon maple glazed pork belly with creamed corn and pickled peppers, butternut squash ravioli with brown butter sauce and hazelnuts with parmesan, french onion braised beef short ribs with gruyere mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts
-Dessert by Nothing Bundt Cakes
