What is the JA Titan Competition?
During the JA Titan Competition, teams of 2-3 students make financial decisions about production, marketing, research and development (R&D), and corporate social responsibility (CSR) for their company. Student-run teams from across our four-county service area compete for the chance to win scholarships and consolation prizes and be named the JA Titans of Business. During the competition, students will log on to a virtual platform with their mentor and JA Area staff and make business decisions.

JA Titan Competition allows students to:
• Have fun while competing against peers for scholarship money.
• Predict and identify various trade-offs based on production business decisions.
• Use a budget as a strategy to monitor revenue, expenses, and other financial records.
• Recognize the importance of profit to the success of a business.
• Analyze how R&D and marketing expenses are company investments.
• Evaluate how a company can be a good community partner and socially responsible.
